Community Center

The Roslyn Milstein Meyer LEAP Community Center offers an opportunity for children of the local community to get involved and learn new skills in LEAP's beautiful community center, which features a state of the art training institute, kitchen, dance studio and basketball court.

 During the 2011/2012 academic year, LEAP will offer cooking classes, computer training, Girl Scouts, basketball, tutoring,and arts & crafts.

Children ages 7-12 are eligible to participate.

History of the Center

The Roslyn Milstein Meyer LEAP Community Center is named after one of LEAP's co-founders and great
supporters. Dr. Meyer graduated in 1971 from Yale College and received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Yale University in 1977. Dr. Meyer chaired the LEAP Board for many years and co-founded LEAP to enhance the life opportunities of young people and to help them develop and achieve academic and social success.
