...was added as a LEAP site in 1997 and runs from Blatchley Avenue to Olive Street and from Chapel Street to State Street.

...is home to such schools as Conte/West Hills Magnet School, Elm City College Prep, Fair Haven School, Columbus Family Academy, John S. Martinez School and East Rock Global Magnet School.

...contains the following parks: Jocelyn Square Park, Lenzi Park, Wooster Square, Chapel Park and Criscuolo Park, which houses a memorial to the 29^th Connecticut Colored Regiment of the Civil War.

...has assorted other businesses and organizations, including: a U.S. Post Office, a New Haven Fire Station, Ferraro’s Market, C-Town Supermarket, Lucibello’s Italian Pastry Shop, Apicella’s Bakery, Fair Haven Community Health Center and Grand Paint.

...utilizes Conte West Hills during the academic year and summer components.

...has partnered with CFGNH, Farnam Tenants Residence Council, Alderman Mike Smart, New Haven Department of Housing, The Community Garden, Project Greenspace, The New Haven Register, Public Allies and Citywide Youth Coalition.
