Children's Programming & Youth Development

AmeriCorps Manager

This is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position. The LEAP AmeriCorps Program Manager develops and manages systems and processes regarding all aspects of the LEAP AmeriCorps Program and is principally responsible for the recruitment, training and development, and management AmeriCorps members as they successfully complete their terms of service.

Site Coordinator

This is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position. The Site Coordinator directly supports LEAP’s community-based programming for our children and young leaders. The Site Coordinator, with support and supervision from the Site Team Manager, takes responsibility for the quality of all operations in one of LEAP’s neighborhood sites. The Site Coordinator leads the development and management of Senior Counselors, Junior Counselors, and Assistant Site Coordinators as they implement social and academic programming for children. The Site Coordinator reports to the Director of Programs.

Youth Development Manager

This is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position. The LEAP Youth Development Program Manager is responsible for the design and implementation of the leadership and professional development program for youth (ages 13 to 25 years) employed by LEAP. The YD Manager works with the AmeriCorps Manager and other members of the Management Team to recruit, train, and develop LEAP counselors to become civically engaged, leaders, and responsible mentors and educators. Additionally, the YD Manager assists high school students to graduate and gain acceptance to institutions of higher learning, and assists both high school and college students with defining career related goals and interests
