How to keep your family safe
Follow the guidelines from our local, state and federal governments. Basic facts: (1) wash hands with soap and water, (2) don't touch your face with unwashed hands, (3) if you have symptoms (fever, cough, sneezing, tight chest) call your doctor or health clinic for advice (do not immediately rush to the hospital because that may not be the best approach), (4) practice "social distancing" and stay at least 6 feet away from others, (5) the federal government now recommends wearing a mask when in public.

There is no charge for this service for New Haven Residents.
Access to Food
With many parents being laid off because of COVID-19, and school being closed, it is important to make sure children still have access to nourishing meals.
The best one-stop for information on getting food is the City of New Haven's food website.
