    Leiyanie "Lee" Osorio

    Leiyanie "Lee" Osorio (she/her/hers)

    Lee oversees the implementation, development, and management of programming for 500 children through the five site locations throughout New Haven. She also assist with the development, mentoring, and coaching of all LEAP counselors. A Puerto Rican immigrant to New Haven, Lee holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice and an M.S. in Correction Administration and Youth Development from Albertus Magnus College. While studying at Albertus Magnus College, Lee joined LEAP as a Senior Counselor in 2012, transitioning to the position of Site Coordinator in 2016. Before becoming a LEAP Site Coordinator, Lee served as a case manager for the New Haven Juvenile Review Board, providing therapeutic mentoring to clients and teaching life skills to youth who exhibited challenging behaviors to lead a successful life. Lee currently serves on the board of NeighborWorks New Horizons, an affordable housing organization in New Haven. She loves to see the world through art and creativity, while empowering youth by investing in their passions!

    LEAP

    LEAP is an academic and social enrichment program providing mentoring for children, teens and young adults, ages 7 to 24.
