LEAP's Summer Program for 7-12 year olds

Summer program applications are available! Once the application (including ALL required documentation) is processed, a site coordinator will notify you of your child's status and any important upcoming events!

LEAP's summer program combines our literacy based curriculum with fun developmentally appropriate activities, including overnight camping, swim lessons, science projects, community services, athletics, arts, cooking and gardening.  All programs are overseen by an experienced site coordinator with trained counselor pairs drawn from local colleges and high schools.  LEAP's summer program is free for participants.

LEAP's summer program is available for children ages 7 to 12 who live in one of our five neighborhoods:

  • Dixwell/Newhallville

  • Fair Haven North

  • Fair Haven South

  • Hill South

  • Dwight/Kensington and West River
