Julia's Run for Children celebrates the legacy of Julia Rusinek and embraces the ideals for which she lived. Julia was a student at Yale College, and she dedicated her summers and her free time to working with or on behalf of underprivileged children.

This year's run will take place on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 10:00 AM in New Haven's historic Edgewood Park!

The proceeds of this event support LEAP's programming. Our LEAP kids are busy learning and building community together through our phonics program, revamped aquatics program, and college application readiness resources.
